Monday.
Fetch the girls from airport then straight to Guesthouse. The place is much better than I expected...aircon, fridge, tv plus a small bathroom. Considered very good for HK$100/night per person. Plus location was terrific...just next to Jordan Mtr Station.

Walked around 旺角,then brought the girls to 郎豪坊。 Mainly is help Kimmy get her Converse and Arsenal stuffs, plus d girls were really tired. Can see. All like wana die wana die lidat le. Came over for dinner ... everybody was very very full.

Tuesday.
Sick. Kimmy left.

Wednesday.
黄大仙 拜拜. Weather was fine when we reached. 大家都有求签。。。主要都是求事业吧,since now already graduate le. HongKong's temple is different from Singapore's...usually when we 求签 in Bugis dat temple, they will give us the 签 for free then we take dat duno wad book and refer to it ourselves. Here ar, must pay one ar. Since the 签 itself is HK$2 and we also dun have the book, we ask the 算命师help us 解签 as well for HK$20.

Mine's a good one ^^

Thurs
Meet them straight at MongKok Mtr. By now all of them are travel experts le ^^ Know how to get to alot of places alone. One whole day shop shop shop shop shop.

Finally brought them to Avenue of Stars. Nothing exciting for me cos I just been there few days ago with Kimmy. Took alot of pics though. Shall upload when have them. Alot of cute stuffs ^^

Friday
One day rest at home before meeting the girls straight at airport. We'll be on our plane to Taipei tml ^^ Excited! And we'll have a small suprise for Huimin too. Getting her a cake and celebrating her bdae on plane ... call her to wish her Happie birthday ya! (She got auto roam but call before 12 cos hp need to be switched off on plane)

Oh my u cant imagine how many things d girls bought...mountains of shoes and clothes. Dun tink they need to shop for the rest of the year le lah. And time to observe their special shopping habits : Huimin like to walk alot of shops to compare before buying what she want. Dor will wander off without a word so always must keep lookout for her. Huijuan is see, ok , buy. Dengli most difficult to buy things cos always dun have her size. Duhz.

I am a evil girl. * Evil evil evil. *

Kimmy was supposed to reach HK today. But. ( Lemme laugh first...Ha! ) She was late and missed the flight. Since she's taking a cheap airline, they dun allow her to change date of flight, forfeited her ticket and now she have to pay another $250 so as to board the next plane. PLUS awarding her with one night stay at the wonderful boring airport that you Singaporeans are proud of ... I'll fetch her at the airport tml at 11 am.

My schedule will be packed. Starting from next week onwards. Kimmy come, class girls come, Kimmy go, class girls go, aunty come, aunty go. Then...WORK. Wu Ha.

Ahem.

心情变好了。(-Only San knows why!!!-) Time for me to enjoy myself!!!!

And many many more places! Yeah...we'll have fun!

PS: An official thx to Alex Lee Chee Seng. Thx to him I'll blog in chinese from tml onwards. Wu ha.

Lets talk about cosmetic today again.

The good ones ^^

H2O+ Sea Mineral Mud Mask $60+
H2O+'s salesgirls are the best salesperson-s in Singapore. Especially those at Suntec. Number one, they are polite and attentive. Number two, they give u FREE skin analysis even though I told them I most prob won't be buying. Number three, they are generous in giving free samples. And most importantly, their product is good. This is what I call, yi fen qian yi fen huo.

Herbalife
Their mud mask and aloe vera gel is goooooood. Price slightly high, but it is worth it cos their after sales service is fantastic. That means, they keep calling n bugging u for feedbacks. It really helped my skin though, visible results after a mth or so but its difficult to find in Singapore cos it is direct marketing. Don't have counter one.

Elizabeth Arden Peel and Reveal Revitalizing Treatment $??
My lady boss gave me during Christmas cos she buey tahan my skin condition. Smells great, come together with a miny brush for easy application of the mask. Lightens scars and tighten pores. I used this once a week, damn nice but very fast use finish lu~

Dalacin Pimple/Acne Lotion HK$85
I used this brand during secondary school days till year one. Very effective for me. Even introduced it to many friends but it doesnt work for me anymore cos my skin got immuned to it le.

Shiseido Pureness Matifying Moisturizer Oil-Free
The salesgirl @ Taka Shiseido counter gave me the sample when I bought their blotters. Wonderful moisturizer really. Matt. Control oil. And smells good.

Shiseido Pureness Oil-Control Blotting Paper $20
I tried Gatsby, Clean and Clear, ZA and other no brand blotters before, but none can be compared to this. One paper enough for whole face (-pls bear in mind tt my face is verrrrrry oily-) plus got powder one side. Da da da dang! Pretty matt face ^^

Shiseido Eyelash Curler $16
Borrowed from Jaclyn, and the effect was good. Jac say that Shu Uemera's one is better, but I bought this anyway cos it's few bucks cheaper than SU.

IPSA Liquid Foundation SPF20 $65
My beloved cream. Fantastic coverage and sun-block. I tried applying it once before stepping into the beach...and the results are more than satisfactory. Everywhere except my face was tanned.

Red Earth Honey Lip Gloss
Wu Ha. Yesh its made of pure honey ... love it cos it really tastes sweet and trust it cos honey is a natural source. ^^

Kose Pencil Eyeliner Black/Brown $25
So far the best eyeliner I tried. The make-up artiste at 2way intro one. It doesnt smudge like crayon eyeliner and is easier to use compared to liquid ones. Last very long...i had my makeup at around 3 and at 5 when I removed my makeup, its still there. Strong right?

Maybelline Lash Discovery $16+?
Not bad. Me using the dark brown one.

Of course I know that everyone's skin is different and what suits me might not suits u.

And as for the products I'm using now. Ahem. Abit long ya. Start from daily uh. Morning I either use SKII facial wash or my prescribed washing gel. Follow by Red Earth Brightening Toner and Neutrogena's Oil-free Combination Skin Moisturizer.

Skip makeup part.

Night. Red Earth Hydro Makeup Removal -> Neutrogena's Deep Cleansing Gel -> SKII facial wash -> Red Earth brightening toner ->Neutrogena's moisturizer.

Weekly. H2O+ mask ( refer to above ) -> Toner -> moisturizer

and

Basic 3 step ( Cleanse, toner, moisturize ) -> Elizabeth Arden Mask ( refer to above )

plus***my ma duno read from which newspaper say bittergourd can lighten scars and heals acne/pimple. Now every alternate days or on the days I'm not doing my own mask, she grinds the bittergourd and apply to my face, leave it for 20 mins before washing it off. Tell you what are the results by next week.

Talk about cosmetic today. (-Bon just bought Big S's mei rong da wang book-)

I've tried many many many cosmetics since young. From cheap ones to some really expensive ones. Ya...and thats why my skin is in this state now. If u dun wana end up like ME, avoid the following stuffs:

ZA
It sucks. To the core. My first ZA products was their Energy water and Exfoliating scrub...at sec 2 if I'm not wrong. I dun tink I feel extra energetic or refreshed after I sprayed on the Energy water thing. And the exfoliating scrub is not for me...more for construction workers. Heard many negative feedbacks from friends regarding ZA too, esp their foundation.

Acnemedia Acne Cleansing Scrub
Bought from Basic Beauty at Heeren. The salesgirl intro to me one. Worst Japan brand ever used. I stopped using it after 2 weeks cos my skin became red and patchy. Even went to see doctor but abit late. This is the culprit for my bad skin.

Body Shop
Wennie says its bad. Therefore its bad.

Biotherm Lip gloss
I love Miriam Yeung. But so? No gd means no gd. This lip gloss absorbs away all the moisture from my lips, d gloss doesnt stays, and the salesgirl is downright rude. $26 for bad service and poor quality. Omg.

Clean and Clear
Its a wash-like-never-wash product. Might as well dun buy.

Loreal Toner
It is not alcohol free. Eats up ur skin and breaks down ur skin structure, which is bad.

The Face Shop Eyeliner
The so called "nice" lady bluff me! She say it won't smudge but it smudge like hell! Liar ><

Estee Lauder Mascara
Cant remember which one I used but it wasnt really good. Sumthing to do with the brush I think.

Canmake Soft Foundation Cake
Nothing much to say. Spoiler. From this product onwards I learnt a very good lesson, that is, dun anyhow try Japan products.

What I learnt from beauticians: Do not anyhow try Japan products cos of the weather @ Japan is so much different from Singapore. Dun tink because its "Made in Japan" it'll definitely be good ... it MAY be good. Bt not for ur skin.

Nothing will block ur pores as long as u remove all ur makeup properly.

What I learnt from Da S: Immediate results shown if u drink black coffee in the morning --- it can reduce puffiness of ur face.

Today, I'd like to introduce my almighty friend, Mr Star. (- Please call him xing xing da ren- )

Mr Star likes to wear white robes with colourful stars patterns. He is not a smoker, gambler or drinker. It is hard to describe his physical appearance as he is always standing very very far away. Secretive guy, ha.

Mr Star is a very nice guy. He listen to all your troubles and tries to solve it in his unique way. For example, if you're ugly and wishes to become prettier, he'll create a accident so that you'll lose a leg. When you become crippled, you'll forget about ur ugliness. See. Isnt Mr Star clever ? ^^ He teaches us to be contented with what we have.

Everybody likes to talk to Mr Star, and everybody likes to make one-sided agreement with him. Sometimes Mr Star fulfills their wishes, sometimes he doesnt, see his mood la. He hates greedy people, and punishes them by fulfilling half of their wish. For eg, he grants a boy's wish of getting a PS2 but is a faulty one and not exchangeable or refundable. Ha.

Mr Star is a scary guy . =^ ^= . Kowaii.
I lost. I called Amy.

o_- ... ... Boo.

I got talent scouted again. Muahahaha.

A guy with black colour lips (-or was he eating oreo?-) tapped me from behind. Normal stuffs, introduce himself, show namecard blah blah blah ... left me his namecard anyway. Asked me to visit their company's website and call him up if I'm interested. This is their company. Wow. Nice flash.

Service here is baaaaaaaad. Very very bad. If u're intending to come here for shopping, bear with them. Just walk in, take what u want and pay... and of course, ignore all their stares and attitude faces. To experience the bad service attitude here, visit the Heeren Fleshimp store. Just as bad.

PS: Girls. HK having alot of thunderstorms lately. Quite cold and raining almost everyday. Summer like not coming so soon this year ar.....
Whats wrong with having yuan ze? Whats wrong with insisting what you believe its right? Tmd.

The incident:

I called sis at 4 pm. Miss call.
She called back at 4:30.

( The following conversation have been translated to singlish )
Sis: Call me for what?
Me: Help me buy food leh.
Sis: Buy what?
Me: Duno. Anything la. U got $?
Sis: Got la. Later must return me hor.
Me: Ha na ha na. I pay u later.

So. She came back at around 5 with some fried snacks and chips. We shared the food. And of course, being the natural pigster and kiasu-ster, she ate more than her share.

Later at night.
Sis: Ay. Money leh?
Me: How much?
Sis: $22 ( HK MONEY fellas! Chips dun cost thaaaaat much. Ard 5 bucks sing $ )
Me: Orh. Later give u la.
Sis: Cannot give now meh?
/Me fork out $15 bucks.
Sis: Ay. U idiot ar. Still got $7 leh.
Me: Dun have small change now la. $7 only what. Lidat also must giam meh.

The fight began. Over a $7. How lame this whole thing is. Old bean tried to end d fight by offering to top up the $7 cash.

Me: Dun give her(sis). She should learn her lesson. Where got ppl eat things no nd pay one. Seven dollars also wana giam...pay abit will die like that.
OB: Aiyah...dun make noise over this kinda small things la. Give her d money la.

K. So my sis got another $4. But she's still unhappy.

Sis: Oi. Still got $3 havent gimme leh.
Me: Ay. U really damn giam hor. $3 also wana gei gao. U also got eat one hor.
Sis : So? U're d one who ask me buy one what. Sumore u say u pay one what.
Me: I say I pay I never say treat leh.
Sis : So? I dun care loh. U say pay means pay.

So. The KP session continues until OB came out and start shouting at me. Kaoz. ME only. Say what its natural that elders pay for the younger ones.

Tsk. He just dun understand my point. I wasnt really particular with the few dollars, but I really think my sis need to learn a lesson. Hao chu liu gei zi ji, chi kui de gei bie ren. Its a give and take thing. Cannot always take, take, take and never give. That is so so so selfish.

So. Here I am blogging about all this rubbish to entertain u guys. My dad will wake up for work in around 15 minutes time. I think I'm going to ignore him cos he pissed me off just now. Hmph.

Just my other yuan ze : Never relent until he apologises. If he doesnt, then give him the cold shoulder until he does. Freeze him to death. Hmph.

- Mongkok trip
- Visit the Comic Shop (-and spent alot of meaningless $$ on them..- )
- Cooked dinner for my mum on Mother's day

- Call POSB regarding my SAYE
- Eat curry fishball

Yup people. I'm at where you know I'm at now.

Weather's great. Cooling. Hope that summer never comes. Ho.

Jetstar's flight was bad. I really hate budget airlines...its really a " You get what you paid for" thing. The seat was damn cramp. Food smells yucky. The airstewardess was smile-less. And worst, the idiotic pilot think he was very funny by tilting the plane left and right many many many times during landing. And then when we reach HK airport, we had to take another lousy bus ride before we actually reach the airport itself. Wow.

Ahem. Anyway.

This 2 months back here will be a very important time for me. Kind of my last break? Time for me to decide alot of stuffs... like what to do after graduation ceremony, what I aim to achieve after 3 years in Singapore, how I'm gg to achieve that blah blah blah.

Will try working in HK during June. Sales waitressing admin clerk telemarketing whatever, the job itself isnt impt, what matters is how it feels like working here. If it feels okay ~ most probably I'll just come back in future. If it doesnt ... well. We'll see hw things goes. -_- ?

Just realised tt I havent post lin's birthday pix *_* And...a belated happie birthday to all the April babes, Divina, Amy, and Lin! I love u all ... muackx!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
The cake we bought for lin.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
What we drew in the card...fierce lin looking down at us and the cake. Ha.

Last night. Met up with the girls, Hl and Zac for dinner @ Heeren NYDC. The ambience was great, just that it could be better with candles and more cooling air. (-maybe next time we should go to their Wheelock outlet instead?-) Hmmm. Raisin bread man and Jolin came late...together. Ha.

Today. Accompanied Kimmy 2 Markie's place 2 dye hair. Wow. Look @ the way Markie treat her and treat me. So damn different. He even chose the latest mag for her to read when he saw that she was reading an older mag. Guys. /me roll eyes.

Anyway after that met up with Wennie for shopping. It was so damn funnie watching her getting irritated with the eyelash curler. Her eyelashes just couldnt stay up even after she crimped it with my magic eyelash curler. Ha. A Lancome girl tried 2 different mascaras on her eyelashes, making worst cos it looks droopy and dark and cakey. Ha. So the conclusion of this story is : Lancome mascaras sucks.

End of daily blogs. Lets talk about something else.

I just dont understand whats wrong with Singapore sales people nowadays. All so damn attitude. If they think serving customers are a pain in the neck, then they shouldnt be in the service line at all! Those salesgirl @ the cosmetic counter especially. Some pretend never see u. Some see customers turn n walk away. Some stare through u, totally in a world of their own. Some forced a smile but look completely pissed cos you're disturbing their peace. Got one even ridiculous, she came over, looked at us, and look and look and look without saying a word. Come on, we come to give u money, not to see your black face lor!

PS: Will be going back HK on Thurs.

Sunday, May 01, 2005

So...almost everyone recieved my latest evaluation report aka testimonial? Those who havent...wait awhile more. Coming soon.

Am so tired these few days. My face is worn out from all the smiles smiles and smiles. Smiling has been a habit...even when I'm down / tired / pissed, I smile. Provided I'm standing within the shop. And thanks to all those friends that drop by ... with refreshments.

Where will I be this time next week? Probably watching TV at HK home or eating supper...and u guys? Rotting here in scorching heat? Tsk tsk tsk...poor things. ( Muahahahhaha~ )

PS: Class...wana meet up for dinner? Meet outside heerens NYDC @ 6 on Mon. C ya!
