I spent alot of time with my family these few days. Doing nothing in particular.

Here's the no-tear formula:

Don't split the four of us up, and you won't get the tears.
Don't pair us up with the teary ones, and you won't get the tears.
Talk about the death like another newspaper gossip, and you won't get the tears.

Don't think about the tears inside, and you won't get the tears.

I'm absolutely fine, darling.

Reached Hong Kong safely.
Its too late, he left.

In fact, he left an hour after my arranged landing time. If I've caught the arranged flight at 6.50am, I would have reached at 10.20am. 30 minutes to hospital, timing would be perfect.

The world doesn't revolves around me. Or him. The plane won't go faster just because he's dying. Jetstar won't reopen the counter just because I need to board the plane.

I slept well last night. Had my breakfast this morning. Nothing changed.

I've never missed a flight in my entire life. Today's my first one.

Jerked up from bed, responding to the tinkle of my uncle's spoon. I've no idea why he woke up at 5.50am to drink coffee. I knew I was late, impossibly late. Nothing's impossible, NOW I KNOW!

Out of house in 2 minutes, reached airport in 20 minutes, dramatically sprinted up the road (to have 6 cars jammed at the same time...just my luck) and dashed to the counter. Closed, sorry. No, we can't check you in. Counter closed by 6 SHARP.

Thanks Mrheartlessbrownguy. Thanks.

Ran to Jetstar counter to get the next plane back. Full, sorry. No, no more seats.

Thanks Mrssonotfriendlysoemotionlessbrowngirl. Thanks.

Was directed to Terminal 2 for internet access. Jogged down, no internet. Jogged down to information, they directed me to that same place. Found it.

HEEEEEEELLLLLL. NO FLIGHTS. Fully booked. What's with March the 23rd? I reckoned someone up there doesn't wants me to leave Singapore.

Lalalalalalalalala. Im in Changi airport, checked in, hair dry, half starving and waiting to board Cathay. Please just let me get out of Singapore smoothly. Puuhhhhllllleeeeaaassseeee.

The night at Jam's concert wasn't as bad as I imagined. I'm always a fan of concerts and live bands anyway, it doesn't really matter who performed. There was a rush of excitement when he sang Desperado, but I didnt show it for long because the middle aged lady next to me displayed the equal amount of affection for the song. It felt wrong.

Next event : S.H.E's concert!

During detention one day, me and another 3B2-ian (San or Kimmy, cant remember which) stood outside our classroom and started future-telling on our class girls. Charlene will become tai tai , Pamela is too noisy to work in office, the Home-econ girls will marry early and adopt the size of a typical malay moms, the 2 Irenes - 1 will go into entertainment industry for sure blah blah blah.

It was just another school day morning. If I remembered correctly, it was the horrendous looking VP that got us to stand outside for the entire lesson. Or was it the Bio teacher?

The last time I saw the gang, it was years back @ Kristine's house. The official gathering for 3B2 and 2/6. The only memory I had of it was Kristine's very big house, her cute brothers and Irene's blonde hair. I didn't turn up for the subsequent gatherings.

Anyway.
Out of curiosity, I went fb-ing all my fellow crescentians profiles.

- Majority of them are in Australia, America and England.
- Fiona Li and Wendy Chung are married. Majority of the rest are attached/engaged.
- Those who doesn't have boyfriends seems to have alot of life.
- Crescentians ages gracefully. Everybody looks much prettier than they were in schooldays.
- Beckie is still with that boyfriend!!!!!! And getting married soon!!!!

As for the crescentians that I know:
The last time I saw Pamela, she was very quiet and demure, working in a bank. She politely nodded at me, no "omg omg omg!!booooonnnnnnn"s and no wailing and screaming. Not even a hug.

I can't remember when did I last saw Rina.

Eileen lost so much weight, she's half of what she was. She was shouting a $6.80 drink at Coffee Club last night, "so small yet so expensive!??!!?!?".

Kaiwen's in Aussie. As good as married.

Miss Chua Kim Hong has officially renamed herself Kimmy Chua. In my "prediction" she was supposed to be married and has babies at this age. The truth is --- she's dating a young boy.

Sandy Koh, thank god, was not married to that beast. I don't foresee her getting into any relationships until her bed and TV and laptop are all burnt to ashes.

And.
Bonita, who was supposed to live to the age of 15, has survived another 10 years.
=D

We snap on the lights, scream and shout. Thought we could give him a big scare ... my dad was greatly amused though. Like his wife's new image?

The greatest entertainment of Chinese new year is to count your red packets on the bus secretly.

He he he.

We missed the big new year bazaars, came across this annual flea market somewhere near Sha Tsui Po. If they have it again next year, we will be there!
