Strongly advised not to patronise this restaurant.a

Cineleisure had this new Hong Kong style cafe at level 2. Didnt expect the food to be, u know, reallly Hong Kong style. Stereotype or whatsoever, but all the so-called HK Cha Can Ting that I've patronised here are fake-Os. Namely, Central Cafe in Taka, Tong Luo Wan Cafe in Bugis, Wan Chai Cafe, Tsim Sha Tsui Cafe and ... please, in Hong Kong's Mongkok, we don't sell Kaya bread with Kopi-O and runny eggs. (*roll eyes*) The "Wang Jiao" @ BPP is a big joke.

So anyway. Back to my story. Quite some time ago, my sister and I tried out that new HK Cafe @ Cine. The list on the menu was disappointing, but since we're starving & already seated, had no choice.

Before the storm.

Our order was 1 yuanyang, 1 milktea, 1 baked rice and 1 Western Toast.

15 minutes passed, and my sis starts to complain. It was rather packed at that moment, all the waiters/waitresses were busy. Since I havent finished reading my comic ... we decided to wait another 10 minutes.

10 minz passed. We asked one of the waitress abt it. She was expressionless, didnt even mutter an apology, said nothing, looked around and WALKED OFF!!

Damn. Assuming that she will do something about it, we continued waiting. Finished reading my comic.

Drinks still not here. My sis motioned to another waitress and the smart girl passify us by asking us to repeat our order.

Another 10 minutes. Starving. Thirsty. And angry. Approached the waitress (the 1st one) again, she gave us a very pissed look, then muttered rather loudly "who took their order one har?". She turned around and complain to the manager, who was the one that took our order. The manager pointed to himself and seemed to take charge of the matter.

Another 10 minutes, our baked rice FINALLY arrived, followed by our western toast. Pathetic toast. No peanut butter in between and the honey tasted damn wierd. Our drinks are not here yet.

Bug them 2 times for our drinks. Gave up in the end......they didnt even initiate to serve us water. Fantastic. AND and and! Waited another 10 minutes for my bill....even pay money also need to wait. Totally pissed off, I stormed up to the cashier and sarcastically asked if it was faster to pay my bill directly @ the cashier.

And! Thinking back, I should have just shouted at them. The cashier, probably the lady-boss or I/C or whatver shit, was really a...an............the main cause of me blogging and whining about this entire bad service thing.

She asked me three times to repeat my order, without even bothering to write it down. If you dont have a genious-memory then jolly well write it down! U dumb ass.

Gave me a black face when she's in the wrong. When I complained about the service and duration of my orders, she totally ignored me and shouted to the kitchen to cancel all my orders! As if it was my fault!

No "please" no "thank yous". Even NTUC aunty can do better than her. No manners!

To justify that I'm not totally pinpointing about the female cashier and that waitress, the food isnt great either. Western toast (HK Style) are supposed to be two piece of bread with peanut butter spread in between, soaked in egg mix and then deep fried. Served with honey and butter. That version we ate had NO PEANUT BUTTER. Yucks.
