Agency was real empty today, Carol's sick, Wendy rushed home for some urgent matters, Jerry's on MC, Fate's absent again....even Ivan, the big boss, went missing!

If not because of Giena's all alone in BR, I would have gone home. Ate the wrong medicine, supposed to cure giddiness, but I got real drowsy after taking it.

Early Halloween!

I'm reading this book that I've bought from Reader's Digest long ago, its called the "How to write and speak better".

Why in the heck did I even bought this book, thats a long story. Its here in my room (chucked nicely in one corner) since 98 and only left the shelf during my O's. Only read one chapter of it, called "Coping with Exams".

Suprisingly, its becoming more and more useful. It actually cover topics like "Job applications", "How to write reports", "Job Interviews", "Dealing with the Boss" (I'm on this chap. now!)...things that I've NEVER EVER FOUND INTERESTING and had NEVER EVER EXPECTED MYSELF TO FIND IT INTERESTING.

Anyways.


As planned, our agency's bbq @ Pasir Ris Park last night was half a success. Pretty much unhappiness and tension during the prep. work, and 1/4 of the expected crowd didnt turn up. Nevertheless, we still had fun!

Most of the credit goes to Giena. For the prep. of equipments, food, bbq-ing......*clapz clapz clapz*

Giena and I are starting on our interview training soon, just had one session this Tuesday. Was almost as what I've imagined, an hour plus long meeting with Ivan, listening to him talk, taking notes etc etc......

My mind tends to wanders off every 5 minutes...not that I'm building castle in the air, but its like...so deja vu! It's so true that all bosses says the same thing. As long as you're doing sales, its more or less the same idea. Since I've been through the same thing over and over again, I ought to be familiar with it already, but the ironic part is, the more I get in touch with these sales concept, the more I have to admit that I'm really not a PR person.

And well, a good salesperson gotta do lots of PR. Lots of sweet-nothings. Lots of white lies.



Long ago when I was still doing part-time with Celia Loe, I have seen top sales representatives exclaiming ridiculous remarks at rich potential customers. My ex-senior actually highly complimented a yellowish-skin tone aunty with bulgy belly in a body-hugging silky mustard-colour dress "beautifully shaped", "fits very well, you look amazing!" while I stared at her with a "i cant believe that you're saying that" look.



I've got loads to learn.

Meanwhile, I'm struggling (with acceptable difficulty) to grasp a balance between my obstinate beliefs and my strive to improve. Dont waste your effort in trying to help me out cos Capricorns have horns.

My hair cut cost $28 and 100 push ups.

It's supposed to be company's Games Day, I really couldnt make it cos I've already made an appointment with my forever-especially-busy h.stylist, which was why I had to do that hundred idiot thingy before I could leave. My arms are still kinda weak right now, applied Ammeiz but its not working! Damn it >,<


After coordinating so many weeks of the anti-aids campaign, I finally manage to squeeze time to pop by during the event! Met up with the clients too, Adrian and Jerlyn, well, I've got a rough idea what Jerlyn looks like beforehand (cos lots of talents have told me about her yeah) but as for Adrian, what a surprise! He look so much younger than what I've expected.......illusion caused by his deep deep voice.

Caught these two guys first! Erfan and Jason...I was just abt to ask San what's taking the phone cam so long when it snapped...


Which was why we had the 2nd snap again.....

Wasted time walking around hunting for the other 2 guys, thought that they were with Adrian. Got Keith as he was walking back for refill of his flowers...


Upon seeing me, he opened his big big arms and gave me a big big hug! San and I was pretty taken aback (but I hugged tightly anywayz...*blushes*)

Oh yeah, in case you're wondering, we were @ clarke quay yeah.



It was pretty tough for the guys, weather's so stuffy (even in open space) and warm, every single one of them are sweating like mad in that black blazer......




Ahem. And now coming to the topic of the day. Jerry and I were almost agreeing to a $100 bet, betting on whether I'm able to maintain my room's tidiness for a week without Rose's help. Almost agreed, damn it. It was a definite winning bet on my side!

That's the big big fan I've been talking about for weeks....the one that looks like a fridge, the one that my dad carried all the way from HK, the one that occupies almost 4 tiles. It really does looks like a mini-freezer, doesnt it.

As you can see, my room's pretty square and small....I've got this little area in the middle where I usually practice dance steps/spread a mat and eat around a box when wennie's around....

My door's not just a door. Its another storage area.


Probably the most interesting corner. I bought that yellow tree from Ikea for bazaar purposes...9.90 if i'm not wrong.


Those in pink circles are actually my designs...they're randomly stuck onto the 4 walls of my room. More like a wallpaper. Oh and my beloved keyboard....forgot who's the one that gave it to me, its already half spoilt cos many of the keys don't work.

I'm not really a couch potato, you know.


I'd love to laze around with lots of comics and a real big glass of ice lemon tea....if I have the time. My fav place to read Harry Potter. Can open up to become a twin bed.

Look at the chunk on the sofa...thats usually what happens when I returns. Dump the key and bag -> Strip -> throw -> change. And of course, that neat stack of clothes on top, is definitely not done by me.

My lappie's battery is spoilt (come to think of it, most of my gadgets are faulty?) so it cant be moved. My favourite pastime is to sit on that ragged chair, stick my legs on the table and watch vcd. ORIGINAL VCD/DVD.

I've thrown away lots of cupboards in my room (originally there were 3) but really couldnt bear to part with this one.


During my hardest time when I had to bring in my shoe rack, my pots and pans, my laundry and my food, this was my most loyal companion. *v* There's no lock to it, but I've always managed to stuff whatever I need to chuck away in it. There's actually lots of secrets and treasures here, but nobody ever thought of checking the book shelves, which was why most of my stuffs were all safe and sound during those periods.
