Its been awhile....

..since I've blogged. Newstation been really active though. Darn I haven't wrote diary for months seriously. Didn't have time to go home to tab daily stuffs, its always from The Man's house to agency and back to The Man's house.

So this is couple life, huh. =)

So during this while, life goes on. Kimmy got married 2 days ago, I didn't attend cos it was only ROM and she couldn't spare a plus one for me, and me being a bad friend didn't wanted to go alone. Pretty upset when I saw the pics of those who attended. Especially of those I don't think deserve the seats. HMPH. I'm going to be a sore bitch and not talk to the lovely brand new Mrs Zeng cos of this.

Okay move on.

Valentine's day was bad. So bad that I cried before and after. Then on the morning of post-Vday I got sick of myself behaving like a cry baby and decided to grow out of that sobbing. I don't enjoy disappointment, but its stupid to let this one (and the three occasions before that..so thats four in total) ruin his credit accumulated throughout three hundred and sixty days before. And being able to type this out *without tears in my eyes..coughs* shows a nerve has died deep inside. Died well died well.

Okay move on.

Deportment started yesterday, no one really shines out yet but I'm sure one of those lads will impress me in the final class. 've been lazy for a long while, March is on its way, gotta move my butt out of the couch (and tuck that tummy in.....ahem).

The Man has finally left 195 Pearl's Hill Terrace, abrupt move. All for the better.

Work Ethics

I prefer a person with good work ethics but needs more time in training than a smart ass that blabbers all the wrong shit.

Simple things like these.
1) Not discussing your pay in the office ( I don't care if you bitch about it in the pantry. Things like this will definitely upset one of the listeners and trigger sour feelings)

2) Keeping your mouth shut about the sales figures of your company

3) Knowing what are meant for your personal knowledge and what are meant to be laid flat on social media platforms

4) Not wearing a dress or skirt so short we can almost see your panties without you bending down

5) Look presentable. Like come on, this is a model agency, tank top and shorts and slippers? Not unless you're a 34D with stunning legs and perky ass. And that pair of slippers gotta have to have kitten heels at least.

6) Make an effort in orientation. Yes we all know newbies make mistakes but repeating it for the fifth time is not excusable

Decisions

Every step I take, every move I make, every word I say.

Are all decisions I've made. Whether I chose to be irresponsible and curse, whether I chose to be childish and biatch about somebody, whether I've weigh pros and cons enough.

And therefore.
Serve me right for putting on 4 kilos.
I chose to eat like mad cow.

Bursting of oyster in every bite.

Thank you for the allowance, HK.

Its not sunflower. Its siew mai.

                                                                       Tasteless bitch.

My way of holiday. Comics junk food and good drink.

Chicken wings marinated in rose wine.

                                                                     @ Satay King. Nah.

Our reunion dinner. Oyster abalone is a must.

Yeah my cousin was stunned too. 16 dim sum 2 plates of wok mee/rice. My cousin's a guy btw.

If appetite is a bank account, I'm hitting my credit limit soon.

Dai Gar Ho

Am in Hong Kong's home right now. Chilly, not freezing yet, thank goodness.

And The Man is still stuck in office. Poor man's been undergoing alot of body torment for the past week. Sprained his neck so bad, I almost thought he might have got a stroke. The chinese physician adviced him to watch his diet, especially on the sugar, something that I've always nagged him on for months. The good thing I got out of it was he really did stopped consuming soft drinks and cut down on KFCs and MCs.

And then a day before his birthday, the Lee family went to Hard Rock Cafe and....awarded him with food poisoning. Everyone else was fine, except him. Pure suay-ness.

All these bad luck will go away after Chinese New year. Things will only get better =)

I'm kinda missing him already.

I love writing resolutions

I don't believe the world will end in 2012. We did enough damage to mother earth, surely they are not gonna let us off that easily.

However, in some sense, this is the year that is going to end some things in some way. For (a cheery) example, F1 is gonna say goodbye. Fifth year, five years contract with Singapore. Unless they decide to renew it for another term but I guess thats pretty unlikely. Come on, look at the tickets' stats from the last two years, its heart wrenching.

I'm gonna prioritize my resolutions this year:

TOP ON THE LIST
STAY SLIM
Yes I can see that small little lard bulging from where it shouldn't be. I'll make sure it go away.

PUT AN END TO WHAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE YEARS BACK
..that is, not ready to be discussed further at the moment.

CARPE DIEM
I've been working very hard on this, ironically. And the results...so far so good. Nobody said I'm going to slack. But I'm definitely not gonna work my ass off and ruin my health for work again this year.

ALSO IMPORTANT
BE SELFISH
I did pretty well in 2011. Keep it up.

GET MY SISTER A JOB
She told me she's graduating in April and that date has been bugging me since. I'm not worried about her future. I'm worried about the amount of money she's gonna eat off me.

BUY THAT DESIGNER CHAIR
No more delay. Get that and go home (more often)

CAN SPARE A THOUGHT FOR
BUFFET FOUR TIMES A MONTH
The Man and I agreed that we can actually save enough for buffet every weekend if we dine at home for 5 days. However if this is gonna happen my top list's resolution might be affected. Hmmmm.

NEXT PHASE IN LIFE
Well. =)

TRAINING A SUPER BOOKER
Yeah. I need a successor. But this does complicate with "Be selfish".

I'll survive till 13th December 2012 and tell you if all these have been achieved. Meanwhile, stay alive.

#lastdayof2011

....trending on Twitter right now.

Birthday happened. The only difference I noticed was I'm beginning to lose count of the years that I've lived. When somebody ask for my age, I gotta start counting from my birth year to 2011.

No joke.

Thank you for allll the presents, lets save the hassle and give me a card in future alrightey? I love cards. =) No joke!

I should be walking down the streets of Tsim Sha Tsui with Divina G, or having another round of high tea at Mongkok, or in a lump at the corner of my house reading a stack of comics. Dinner will be ready at seven, we would most probably be having 羊腩腐竹煲 and beer and watching a last episode of some Hong Kong dramas. Parents will be taking a nap before we set off to Tsuen Wan Citywalk for countdown, after which the massive crowd will be packing into late dessert stores for a warm bowl of sesame paste or shave ice.

That was my #lastdayof2010, and #lastdayof2009, #lastdayof2008.

Christmas was pretty screwed, then again my mood for this December was simply not right in the first place. I'm too looking forward to 2012 December already. I do feel that there's a change of luck recently...somebody up there remembers me =)

Marry off Kimmy

The legendary Kimmy Hong is getting married.

Yes. Legendary. We had policemen chasing after us to make friends with her. Delivering Hokkien mee in the middle of the night to her doorstep. Money transferred in a phone call. Overseas trip sponsors. Somebody bought her a horse.

She's Summer from 500 days of Summer. She's an undercover mafia.

And now she's getting married.

Kimmy Hong is getting married. Cry boys, cry.

Christmas happened

and was over in a blink.

Bye Christmas bye, though I love your sweet quietness but it wouldn't hurt if you're more lively next year. I'm still pretty much upset by the fact that the class didn't have a full gathering this year and I shall bear in mind that next year when I plan way ahead, if response are not spontaneous it means I and my other half should just get on with our lives.

That's how upset I was.
Okay move on. Anyways.

Christmas hat shoots every year. Make it a Imodels tradition!

Had mad fun hahahaha. Ryan had a collection of GQ slash Vogue slash LevisSS2012 shoot which I might or might not post up soon, bloody hell this boy can pose better than any of new models. With reorganized features, wider and larger frame, less flab and 20 centimeters he would excel in our industry.

Okay I eat my words. Nomnomnom.

And thank you to all that had me in your christmas shopping list, I love presents, especially cards (seriously). My sis knows me best, she gave me both plus it was by post (of course it had to be) --- that special dokidoki when you open a parcel is priceless.

Dined at Hanabi @ Odeon Towers for Christmas, was totally out of the plan cos we kept it free for the class. (Silence for 30 seconds). Menu was different and way pricier than I expected but it was Christmas, so yeah. (And The Man paid for it, so, yeah, that explains why he was glaring like that.)
