New Korea restaurant at Central, Giena and I went out for late lunch at four plus in the afternoon, their lunch sets are still on offer.

Photobucket
2 sets of lunch combo. comes with 6 starters of 2 servings each dish. We add on that pizza-alike thingy as side dish, its potato pancake but its really nothing compared to kimchi pancakes @ Arirang.

We need fresh air and fresh food sometimes.

Trimmed fringe.

Dunno whats the hoo ha about this fringe, I had it for years (years back!). If everybody could stand my stooopid center parting (with respect to Namie!! Lalalalalalala) and that long-short bang, this cut is considered normal.

And for your information, this fringe will stay with me for at least a year so YOU better stop commenting about it, like it or not, ITS MY HAIR AND YOU'RE NOT EVEN MY BOYFRIEND MY PAYMASTER OR MY PARENTS.

And ANYWAY, my parents wouldn't bother what my hair looks like and I don't give a damn to what my boyfriend thinks about my hair. However, if my paymaster decides that my hair is affecting my sales (which doesn't makes sense at all and is plain childish and personal attack if he DOES say that), I will consider of heeding his advice.

Its officially my third year in the agency and in this line.

3 years straight I've missed handling the main coordination for fashion festival (okay except assisting Mun for the 1st year...and that was an disaster), and I can only blame myself for hating parties and socializing.

To me, socializing = clubbing in a no-live-band club. For 3 years I've been couching infront of my little white phone, connecting to the world in my preferred method. I love small little meetings, ( okay and sometimes slightly major ones with panel of bored clients), to match a face to a name and get that kind of bonding you wouldn't get via the cord.

And its not that we don't have good models here in the agency. Its the same few Brazilian and Russian agencies supplying babes and hunks to all over the world anyway, a girl can be in the Top 7 agencies 3 years back and pop by to our agency this year. Or some might even be with us first and then hop over to one of the Top 7.

We work double hard, treat models better than the other agencies do, get everybody happy and yet we lose to 2 simple words : Branding and Networking. Urgh.

Boy A and Girl A broke up.

Somebody died.

A wallet lost.

2 friends quarreled.

These are everyday stories. It doesn't hurt if you think of it this way. Zip up the feelings, don't sub in with people you know or things you cherish, forget about the details.

It doesn't hurt if you think of it this way.

Our Ramen craze got our butts out to venture into different ulu places for delicious Ramens. Sandy Koh used used to give that Huhhhcantweeatsomethingelse face whenever I suggested Ramen, no idea why is she so into this dish suddenly.

Ah well, better for me. I love carbohydrates in hot water.

One of the infamous Ramen store in the new shopping heaven Parco @ Millenia Walk.

Photobucket
Savouring her ramen. Its $14.80 for the normal Ramen. I find it abit too oily.

Parco is inside Millenia walk, just an extended part, you can enter from Harvey Norman if you're coming in through the food court. Check out Parco NEXT NEXT, housing local designer brands under TAFF. I'm loving Depression, Max.Tan and L'ile aux Ashby.

We have a new couple:
Photobucket

I don't know why this guy had to announce it on April Fools day. He's trying to challenge the world to doubt this relationship.

Random guest for gathering. Mr Seng.

Who has the bigger head? Him or Jim?

Can't remember the name of this dish. Tasty but bad for kidney.

I like Naans!

Dry your tears Dengli, there's still a chance that they might break up before you turn 30 years old.

Hoegarden that doesn't taste like Hoegarden.

I'm back.
I'm back.
I'm back.

I'm at work.
I'm at work.
I'm at work.

I'm fine.
I'm fine.
I'm fine.

As long as I keep my mind occupied, I'm fine.
Its a hard time, we are swimming against the waves.

I spent alot of time with my family these few days. Doing nothing in particular.

Here's the no-tear formula:

Don't split the four of us up, and you won't get the tears.
Don't pair us up with the teary ones, and you won't get the tears.
Talk about the death like another newspaper gossip, and you won't get the tears.

Don't think about the tears inside, and you won't get the tears.

I'm absolutely fine, darling.

Reached Hong Kong safely.
Its too late, he left.

In fact, he left an hour after my arranged landing time. If I've caught the arranged flight at 6.50am, I would have reached at 10.20am. 30 minutes to hospital, timing would be perfect.

The world doesn't revolves around me. Or him. The plane won't go faster just because he's dying. Jetstar won't reopen the counter just because I need to board the plane.

I slept well last night. Had my breakfast this morning. Nothing changed.

Wednesday, March 24, 2010

I've never missed a flight in my entire life. Today's my first one.

Jerked up from bed, responding to the tinkle of my uncle's spoon. I've no idea why he woke up at 5.50am to drink coffee. I knew I was late, impossibly late. Nothing's impossible, NOW I KNOW!

Out of house in 2 minutes, reached airport in 20 minutes, dramatically sprinted up the road (to have 6 cars jammed at the same time...just my luck) and dashed to the counter. Closed, sorry. No, we can't check you in. Counter closed by 6 SHARP.

Thanks Mrheartlessbrownguy. Thanks.

Ran to Jetstar counter to get the next plane back. Full, sorry. No, no more seats.

Thanks Mrssonotfriendlysoemotionlessbrowngirl. Thanks.

Was directed to Terminal 2 for internet access. Jogged down, no internet. Jogged down to information, they directed me to that same place. Found it.

HEEEEEEELLLLLL. NO FLIGHTS. Fully booked. What's with March the 23rd? I reckoned someone up there doesn't wants me to leave Singapore.

Lalalalalalalalala. Im in Changi airport, checked in, hair dry, half starving and waiting to board Cathay. Please just let me get out of Singapore smoothly. Puuhhhhllllleeeeaaassseeee.
