Did I mention how much I love to rot in the library? If I'm gonna leave Singapore one day, the only place I'll miss must be the library. Especially's Taka's library...now that its gone, I'm pubbing at Bugis NLB almost every weekend.
I've been researching alot on foreign model agencies to compare the differences in management and system. The books are more or less the same, the portfolios, the comcards, the relationship of bookers and models blah blah blah.
Well the interesting part is, in countries like Europe and Russia, people take modeling more seriously than they do in asia countries. There are quite a number of modeling schools around, and the percentage of talents stepping into this industry as full time models are way more than what is happening in Singapore. I admit that Singapore is a very small country, just a dot on the map (not even visible as a dot in most maps...), but isnt that what everybody said about filming industry as well few years back? I hope its not, like what Gwen said every morning, Singapore is dying.

Oh and anyway, I was laying these modeling books on my lap today at the library, whenever somebody walks past, they tend to give me this strange stare that makes me feel really uncomfortable. And mind you, I wasnt with makeup, felt guilty about my appearances...
But hmmm then again, if I see a so-so looking girl reading "How to become a model" and "All about modelling", I would rate her secretly too. The scores would have been obvious by the look of my expression.......so that explains why those people are giving me that look!?

Driving myself crazy by last minute shoot confirmation! This usually means that I've got only a day to search and get hold of those hard-to-get models/talents, begging and selling my dignity to persuade big shots to go down for projects.
Been rather stressed out for the past week and I get easily irritated at the slightest pressure. Work doesnt seems as fun as it used to be. And I'm getting phonephobia....I dread the phone to the extent that I almost wanted to pluck the cord and toss that goddamn machine out of the window.
I want a holiday!
Seems like most people will be absent for the planned taipei trip in September, I've already lost count on who's going and who's not. What i have in mind is, 4 days in Taipei then direct flight to Hong Kong for my mum's birthday, 3 days stay before I drag myself back.
This was very long ago in March, manage to hunt for time to resize and upload....sorry giena!

2 buttons every week.
Its been 3 weeks already, and almost all the most important buttons are missing from my hp, including the "1" and "Recieve/Okay" buttons. Why bother go get a touch screen phone? Just scrape off the button, peel off the rubber beneath and tah dah~! There it is.
I am not that fascinated in touch-screens, especially SEMI touch screens, so its really high time for me to get a new mobile. Nothing in mind at the moment, will be pretty satisfied in having a mobile that can make calls, sms and take reasonably clear pictures. Oh, and it must not look like a shaver.

Gwen and I are nagging everyday that we are dying to fall in love. For your information, there is a fine line between falling in love and having a boyfriend. In simple words, its "emotionally" and "physically". Its not too difficult to get accompany for drinks movies dinner phone-talks, but for the matters of the heart, its totally off-hand,.... out of control, ....dead.
So, in desperation of wanting to fall in love, I thought I would with anybody thats sweet enough to make my heart beat. But you know what, when it really happens........my heart didnt flutter, instead, I feel so disgusted. I dont know why! Everything started off fine, but once they say that kind of sweet-nothings and do that kind of actions, I really wanted to RUUUUUUUUN.
Am I over-sensitive to lovey-doveys?

Why am I always taking so long to upload these pics? Hmmmm.
Almost the entire agency turned up for this Attica fashion show last Saturday, partly because we had invites and nobody needs to pay a single cent. The entire fashion show is done by our models, displaying brilliant sets from Peter and Sunny Ang.
Honestly, I preferred the 2nd show by Sunny Ang. Love his bright colours. Anyways, here are the pics. *v*
I thought the bouncer in glasses was my type until I saw that lump of hair on top of his wouldbewonderfullooking botak head.
The show began with this Ah-gua mouthing thai songs and trying hard to bring up the hype of the party......or was he singing jap songs?

2nd snap. Did i mentioned that its masquerade party? That explains why the girls were in bunny suits.

Met up with Gracie and Huixian last night for a quick catch up. I missed them so much!
Gracie seems to be shooting upwards as fast as her grades are plunging down. I was really disappointed to hear about her results for mid-term. I dont blame Huixian, she's helpful enough to take over Gracie's lessons and caring for Gracie as much as I did. =))
Anyways, we went over to JE to take neoprints. My god, NEOPRINT. When was the last time since I heard this word? I thought they died-ed, but obviously they found a way to stay alive. The price is still not so student-friendly (its still 9 bucks my goodness....cant believe I actually spent so much on them during sec days), but its still the best (not to mention, most not-worth-it) pastime of the youngsters nowadays. Gracie, primary 4 this year, is patronising that pinkyohsogirlishneoprint shop almost everyday.
Madness. Makes me feel so old!

've been OT-ing for the past days. I'm enjoying this kinda stuffed schedule, as long as I get to reach home at 10pm to watch "Kang xi lai le II". Lol.
Mun left us yesterday. Yes, he's still alive, guessed that we might be catching up next week to pass him his clothes and his Lonely Planet. Everything happened so quickly, before the truth sank in he has already high-fived me and Giena, slung his harversack over his shoulder and catwalked out of the office, in that imjustgoingoutforasmokingbreak fashion.
Despite the fact that sometimes me and him cant compromise on the same values, we were the ones that strived through together that hectic and stressful months, were the ones that picked up our very first batch of international models together, built up a department from scratch, bitch about models and clients, make ridiculous pictures and videos ... ...
Was really fun working with him, would havel been even better if the aries in him and the capri in me doesnt jump at each other so often.

We girls popped by Dor's place to see her little newborn darling last last saturday and omg, Cheryl (Dor's daughter) was soooo adorable. None of us dared to carry her though, with her grandma hovering over her every second....
Dor put on a hell lot of weight! Almost unrecognisable.....pain and sacrifices of a mother! I hope you guys sincerely thank your mothers for that, now I know why mothers always like to constantly remind us of that 10 months pregnancy.
Anyway, I've had enough of steamboat for the moment! 3 steamboat within 10 days is kinda crazy.
We booked the entire 2nd storey for dinner, with 1 waitress to serve us every 30 minutes.
The fish paste is a must-order.
Duno what Dengli's laughing at, perhaps at Huijuan's latest side parting?
Shhhh...very serious moment. Scalding the fish paste with hot soup...
By the time we're done with dinner, the library's carpark is already closed! Almost unable to get Huimin's car......the carpark uncle was really nice and friendly though. Dunno why, but just really felt like snapping a pic here.
The carpark is really empty except for Huimin's car.
Wld be spooky if I was alone. That's the power of friends!

Before Rongpo stepped in, everybody was very excited about how he would look like after these years (2 years....that explains the S after year). He didnt look different when I last saw him, which was a year ago.
And alas. He is so fat now.
To prevent him from mia-ing again, I sucked up to his gf, Jeanie, and got this little darling's hp. Now he has nowhere to hide! Muhahahahahahah ~ *evil laughter*

But little messages here and there, it feels like, I'm still involved in what they are doing everyday, and they are, in mine too.
