The Promiser

Some promises are meant to be ignored.

For good will.
For the benefit of a third party.
Market/environment/team mates/feelings/preferences changed.

And a thousand more reasons.

Just because you made a promise doesn't necessarily mean that I'll have to gladly accept it.

Weekend at MBS

Thanks to The Man's mom, who spent her casino points on a 3 weekend hotel stay marathon. Baton passed to us for this week, next up will be The Man's sister and her boyfriend.

17th's our monthniversary, highlight for the day was supposed to be Todai. The idea of making reservation didn't cross my mind till the day itself and the only slot they had left was 8.30pm, which we would both probably burn a hole in our stomach by then. And so, we created our own little international buffet.

15 minutes after we officially started munching, The Man declared dead for the night. Too full to move at 8.15pm. And he goes on to be full all the way till 10pm, and dead again after getting a sneak bite at a hard cold pizza during my bubble bath.

There goes my romantic night. -_-

Whats wrong with you, degree holders?

I can't handle stupid questions.
I just can't.

I've been meeting alot of degree & bachelor holders from all over the world for the past weeks, many of them left me wondering "how the heck did they get their degree?" and questioning the credibility of that laminated shining cert.

H & M? Not now.

I missed the H&M launch for one good reason.
And for the same reason, I'm not patronizing it till the craze dies down.

Don't get me wrong. I love h&m. Always my first stop when I fly back to Hong Kong with a empty luggage. Chic tees, gifts, the hello kitty collections, the cheap and good shoes. But now I gotta think thrice before swiping my card on their stuffs cos I don't wanna be caught wearing the same as everybody else here.

Sigh. Tata my love.

Yeah we must be mad

Look at this.
Just. Look.

What the heck were we thinking when we ordered this?

And what the heck were we thinking, when we ordered this as well?

We must have looked like two idiots that have never eaten noodles for our entire lives.

Ramen Champion would be a must go if you really into Ramen, 6 choices of different styles. The queue for Bario was long, Kimmy's friend did highlighted their Cha-shu as "melt in your mouth" kind of Cha-shu but naaaah. We're not the type into queueing so we opt for the no queue at all Toyama's Cha Shu ramen, which fits into the same description as Bario's too anyways.

Ramenplay serves nice cha-shus too, by the way.

Once again

Sigh.
Tony Tan.

35% votes enough to make him a president. Even if there's 65% Singaporeans disagreeing.

That's a sad system.

"I say Jee Say Jee Say Ho Say"

*shudders*
....woo.

Who came up with this slogan?

Experience from attending past rally reminded me to be in boots. Note to self that I should be in bikini and long pants for the next rally. Humid and flies.

After hunting and roaming for 15 minutes, we finally found Jim near a yellow striped landmark. I can't believe that we actually missed his big head.

But yes, I'm for Tan Jee Say, cos he's against ISA. Simple as that. I'll vote for him, if I can vote.

But I cant. =*(

Frankly speaking....

I'm kinda stuck.

I'm high above, with nothing in my hands. Just a false almighty look yet defenseless to arrows that aims directly at me.

Wait and die.
Jump and die.

This wasn't what's promised.
