Santa aint giving you any presents this year.

After brainstorming for ideas, searching images, going through the wardrobe in the studio, sit down and discuss with the photographer and makeup artist.

After sitting in explaining the concepts, running up and down the stairs trying to juggle my coordinations, checking the raw pictures after every shot.

After nagging Gary for editing, touching up and fretting which picture should be headshot.

After calls and sms-es to remind training sessions, adjusting the mistakes and wasting afternoons after afternoons correcting the same mistakes.

After pushing real hard, trying to convince clients that yes, she is ready, he is ready, give them a chance, and then bombing them calls again, yes, you are ready, go and try again for the casting.

Then.

Then, they fly. Without a word of thanks.

Then, they soar to somebody else' arms. And spitting saliva back at us.

Styling, directing, training. I'm not paid for all these, you know?

I'm disheartened, sometimes.

Me and my handphones, a hate and need relationship.

I dislike picking up calls on either my personal phone or company phone, dislike way it vibrates when its on silent, dislike the stress that crawls down my neck when I see missed calls.
