Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Cant rem what this is lu~
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

First day at Taipei

Reached Taipei at around 3++ morning. Poor Huimin's jiefu waited for us at the airport for quite long cos our flight was delayed due to bad weather @ HK. Amazing car of his...7 of us squeezed in for a 50 min ride.

Mmmmm. Taipei 's air smells so different. ^^

By the time we finally fall to bed, already 4+ am le. -_-"

Cant remember what time we woke up but we left house around 1 pm. Taipei's mrt station is called 捷運, nearest station from our house was 木柵站, which is only 5 minutes walk away.
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

We bought a student travel card ( sth like Sgp's ez-link ) for NT$500, alighted at 忠孝復興站and headed to the famous 東區粉圓stall. Though we followed directions given in the book, still quite difficult to find cos very difficult to find 路牌.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Nothing much to walk one...damn sian. This pic was taken outside the toilet. Cool.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Only thing is that the queue is very long and alot of customers, so the staff there tend to get abit impatient.

Main aim of the day was to find Jay's antique shop at 忠孝東路. A very very long way cos the directions given in the book wasnt clear and everybody gave differnt directions. After an hour or so of searching and trial and error, finally found it!!!! They don't allow picture taking in the shop but the salesgirl was nice enough to let me and huimin take one pic each. Muacks.

Huimin and my ex ~

And anyway, do you know that d shops ard this area are all so cool? Heard that the rent are cheaper than shopping centres. They have very big unique statues outside their shops, and even those country style staircases, benches outside, stuffs like that. There was a 2m+ gorilla statue outside X-Large.

As you know ( or u dun? ), itz huimi's 21st bdae that day! We gave her a suprise at HK airport with a suprise cake and a suprise gift. She actually sniffed d cake even before she saw it! We celebrated again at night at Ps Bu Bu, with her jiejie and jiefu.

Fooooooooooood!!! Huge onion rings ><

Please focus on the blue car behind. We tried to take pictures of all the cars inside PS Bu Bu secretly. Esp their pink mini cooper. Wow. If u find this place familiar, YES, it is the 流星花園dat 汽車屋, the place where Da S and Jerry dated. You'll be disappointed to know that ice cream is NOT their main dish...they specialize in Italian food. Nice spaghetti served, though slightly ex. Around NT$300 for one dish. The waitress are all so pretty btw. Wu Ha.

Monday.
Fetch the girls from airport then straight to Guesthouse. The place is much better than I expected...aircon, fridge, tv plus a small bathroom. Considered very good for HK$100/night per person. Plus location was terrific...just next to Jordan Mtr Station.

Walked around 旺角,then brought the girls to 郎豪坊。 Mainly is help Kimmy get her Converse and Arsenal stuffs, plus d girls were really tired. Can see. All like wana die wana die lidat le. Came over for dinner ... everybody was very very full.

Tuesday.
Sick. Kimmy left.

Wednesday.
Weather was fine when we reached. 。。主要都是求事业吧,since now already graduate le. HongKong's temple is different from Singapore's...usually when we 求签 in Bugis dat temple, they will give us the 签 for free then we take dat duno wad book and refer to it ourselves. Here ar, must pay one ar. Since the 签 itself is HK$2 and we also dun have the book, we ask the 算命师help us 解签 as well for HK$20.

Mine's a good one ^^

Thurs
Meet them straight at MongKok Mtr. By now all of them are travel experts le ^^ Know how to get to alot of places alone. One whole day shop shop shop shop shop.

Finally brought them to Avenue of Stars. Nothing exciting for me cos I just been there few days ago with Kimmy. Took alot of pics though. Shall upload when have them. Alot of cute stuffs ^^

Friday
One day rest at home before meeting the girls straight at airport. We'll be on our plane to Taipei tml ^^ Excited! And we'll have a small suprise for Huimin too. Getting her a cake and celebrating her bdae on plane ... call her to wish her Happie birthday ya! (She got auto roam but call before 12 cos hp need to be switched off on plane)

Oh my u cant imagine how many things d girls bought...mountains of shoes and clothes. Dun tink they need to shop for the rest of the year le lah. And time to observe their special shopping habits : Huimin like to walk alot of shops to compare before buying what she want. Dor will wander off without a word so always must keep lookout for her. Huijuan is see, ok , buy. Dengli most difficult to buy things cos always dun have her size. Duhz.

Tuesday, May 24, 2005

My world is full of germs. I'm sick. Kimmy's sick. Hj's sick. Dor's sick. Fantastic.

Having a 39.4 fever. Hj's having a 38.5 fever. Lets see who can break my record. Wu Ha.

I am a evil girl. * Evil evil evil. *

Kimmy was supposed to reach HK today. But. ( Lemme laugh first...Ha! ) She was late and missed the flight. Since she's taking a cheap airline, they dun allow her to change date of flight, forfeited her ticket and now she have to pay another $250 so as to board the next plane. PLUS awarding her with one night stay at the wonderful boring airport that you Singaporeans are proud of ... I'll fetch her at the airport tml at 11 am.

My schedule will be packed. Starting from next week onwards. Kimmy come, class girls come, Kimmy go, class girls go, aunty come, aunty go. Then...WORK. Wu Ha.

Ahem.

(-Only San knows why!!!-) Time for me to enjoy myself!!!!

And many many more places! Yeah...we'll have fun!

PS: An official thx to Alex Lee Chee Seng. Thx to him I'll blog in chinese from tml onwards. Wu ha.

Lets talk about cosmetic today again.

The good ones ^^

H2O+ Sea Mineral Mud Mask $60+
H2O+'s salesgirls are the best salesperson-s in Singapore. Especially those at Suntec. Number one, they are polite and attentive. Number two, they give u FREE skin analysis even though I told them I most prob won't be buying. Number three, they are generous in giving free samples. And most importantly, their product is good. This is what I call, yi fen qian yi fen huo.

Herbalife
Their mud mask and aloe vera gel is goooooood. Price slightly high, but it is worth it cos their after sales service is fantastic. That means, they keep calling n bugging u for feedbacks. It really helped my skin though, visible results after a mth or so but its difficult to find in Singapore cos it is direct marketing. Don't have counter one.

Elizabeth Arden Peel and Reveal Revitalizing Treatment $??
My lady boss gave me during Christmas cos she buey tahan my skin condition. Smells great, come together with a miny brush for easy application of the mask. Lightens scars and tighten pores. I used this once a week, damn nice but very fast use finish lu~

Dalacin Pimple/Acne Lotion HK$85
I used this brand during secondary school days till year one. Very effective for me. Even introduced it to many friends but it doesnt work for me anymore cos my skin got immuned to it le.

Shiseido Pureness Matifying Moisturizer Oil-Free
The salesgirl @ Taka Shiseido counter gave me the sample when I bought their blotters. Wonderful moisturizer really. Matt. Control oil. And smells good.

Shiseido Pureness Oil-Control Blotting Paper $20
I tried Gatsby, Clean and Clear, ZA and other no brand blotters before, but none can be compared to this. One paper enough for whole face (-pls bear in mind tt my face is verrrrrry oily-) plus got powder one side. Da da da dang! Pretty matt face ^^

Shiseido Eyelash Curler $16
Borrowed from Jaclyn, and the effect was good. Jac say that Shu Uemera's one is better, but I bought this anyway cos it's few bucks cheaper than SU.

IPSA Liquid Foundation SPF20 $65
My beloved cream. Fantastic coverage and sun-block. I tried applying it once before stepping into the beach...and the results are more than satisfactory. Everywhere except my face was tanned.

Red Earth Honey Lip Gloss
Wu Ha. Yesh its made of pure honey ... love it cos it really tastes sweet and trust it cos honey is a natural source. ^^

Kose Pencil Eyeliner Black/Brown $25
So far the best eyeliner I tried. The make-up artiste at 2way intro one. It doesnt smudge like crayon eyeliner and is easier to use compared to liquid ones. Last very long...i had my makeup at around 3 and at 5 when I removed my makeup, its still there. Strong right?

Maybelline Lash Discovery $16+?
Not bad. Me using the dark brown one.

Of course I know that everyone's skin is different and what suits me might not suits u.

And as for the products I'm using now. Ahem. Abit long ya. Start from daily uh. Morning I either use SKII facial wash or my prescribed washing gel. Follow by Red Earth Brightening Toner and Neutrogena's Oil-free Combination Skin Moisturizer.

Skip makeup part.

Night. Red Earth Hydro Makeup Removal -> Neutrogena's Deep Cleansing Gel -> SKII facial wash -> Red Earth brightening toner ->Neutrogena's moisturizer.

Weekly. H2O+ mask ( refer to above ) -> Toner -> moisturizer

and

Basic 3 step ( Cleanse, toner, moisturize ) -> Elizabeth Arden Mask ( refer to above )

plus***my ma duno read from which newspaper say bittergourd can lighten scars and heals acne/pimple. Now every alternate days or on the days I'm not doing my own mask, she grinds the bittergourd and apply to my face, leave it for 20 mins before washing it off. Tell you what are the results by next week.
