Wasted 2 + hours @ Recruit Express this afternoon. Very very pissed off.
My appointment was @ 1:30 with an agent called Janet. 15 minutes filling up forms, 35 minutes waiting for my turn for the interview. You know, the norm procedures. Janet finally approached me and we chatted for 10 minutes in the conference room. She decided that I'm very suitable for the Recruitment Consultant position that Recruit Express is offering, and it wasnt the job that I applied for.
Never mind. She said her company offers great pay.
So anyway, her team leader took over the interview and Janet left. That lady has a really major attitude problem. Unlike all the other agents, this is the most horrid one I ever met. She doesnt smile, she doesnt chit chat, for that 5 minutes she spared me.......it felt like eternity. Everytime she propose a question, she gives me the cold hard stare as if she's trying to x-ray my brain to see if I'm lying or not. And then she keep very quiet for at least 10 seconds after my answer, staring me at the same time, all I hear is the air-con noise and my own heartbeat, and all this while having to maintain eye contact with that round-eye monster........
AND! To end off the interview, she made me do this Personality Test and left me waiting in the meeting room for another hour. When I finally got impatient to look for her, she's actually sitting at her table doing nth. She forgot totally about me. This' the worst interview (okay, 2nd worst) I ever had.
But then, the good news is that, while waiting, DBS called to inform me that I've been shortlisted for the Financial Executive Programme! Hope everything turns out fine.....
