..one who speaks for herself, fearless of the circumstances cos she has faith in those who knows her will know she only speaks the truth and stand on moral grounds.
I want to be one who can slam a book of standards in the faces of people who abuse their years of experience and network. I want to be the one to stand up and look them coldly in the eyes, and say "You have no ethics, downright unprofessional, this will be the last time we are working with you.". I want to be the one that they are scared to lose.
This will be a long road. (If human beings doesn't extinct after 2012)

Christmas came early
Good things that happened in 2011
1) Sandy broke up with a bastard. How low can a man get? Ask him.
2) Bad guys died. Good bye Osama and Kim Jong Il. We don't miss you.
3) Hong Kong Government 良心发现 decided to 分猪肉 to us little poor hongkys.
4) I had good breakfast almost everyday.
Thank you Singaporeans for contributing much to the tourism of my country. Jim's off to HK for work trip, then Dengli for countdown and Gerald for mysterious oversea date with girlfriend to be. (Clarify : He says "She's not my girlfriend." Lets all act stupid about this k)
I'm gonna miss countdown at Tsuen Wan. Its been the family culture for years, just last December I (self-declared) that no matter how busy we are, we'll do the countdown at the same plaza every new year's eve. Nomnomnom eating my words. Sigh.
***
Early christmas celebration at the new Wild Honey outlet at Scotts Square. Good ambience but their quality of food is at the same level as SMRT.
The ban's here : no more speakers for exchange gift for 2012's christmas. (The Man has 3 speakers from past and this year's christmas)

Happy one year anniversary
How many one year anniversary can you have in a relationship?
Just one.
We may not be the best boyfriends and girlfriends in the world, but we're the best for each other.
I love you.
Muacks.

Its hormones, you can't blame us
Hot flushes. Sweat. Irritability. Mood swings. These are inclusive in the menopause package.
We had a rather tough period with my mum's menopause. She drove everyone crazy, whining about everything under the sun. She would be reading her newspaper, or cutting apples, or staring at the TV, you know peaceful silence and then PAH next second, you're suddenly facing a hysterical afro-hair auntie that seriously look like she's gonna break your neck.
And I didnt know that she was experiencing menopause, only till a week ago. It was pretty obvious, peering through another window, looking at the same scene same drama, different cast. I'm glad our show's wrapped.
Menopause supplements are sure expensive. Googled, the main cause of these tides are mainly due to lack of Estrogen. And the cheapest that we found was $58 from Nature's Farm, it wasn't "Nature Farm" though, just a brand that Nature Farm carried (can't remember the name though).
Wished I got my mum those back then.

Christmas Wish List
The shopaholic has been starved for one whole year. I might just go crazy if I don't get these soon:

I wanna go home
During the good ol Crescentian days, I always went back at least twice a year, for both June holidays and December holidays. Back then not everyone had internet access at home (stone age people stone age) and I don't even have a computer in Hong Kong. The five besties would write letters and it was then I knew Kimmy could really write alot of crap.
NP days were better. Sometimes three times a year, including either the CNY break or the big sale season around August. I took up three part-time jobs just to sustain my living expenses, my school fees and my shopping fees when I returned home. Sometimes that guy that lives above the clouds decides that he wants to exercise his big heart and wham, I had extra cash to fly home with.
No matter how bad times were, I always went home in a six months interval. I have never been away from home for straight eleven months. (All in the name of love, Amen)
So anyways, homesickness was killing me and I flew back home for 2 days.
Met up with sis at MTR station. I couldn't stand her wearing slippers and she couldn't stand that ribbon on my head.
At my dad's 茶餐厅. He took an off day and appeared in his own coy, had our morning tea and dimsum and went back to the kitchen to help out. Poor fella.
I think workaholic is in the genes.
One thing that the whole family can't live with ------ tissue.
@ The ONE, shopping centre with all brands under I.T holdings. Super disappointing place. No sales offer =(
They had nice benches though.
Gimme Chocooooolate.
I miss you, Hong Kong street. I miss the lorries, the messy signboards, the greyish roads, the fat short dustbin, the polluted air blah blah blah.
And I super miss Christmas decors!!!! Can't believe that I'm really not gonna go back for Christmas and count down this year. Sigh.
So much walking done, we were walking like ducks at 3pm. Ate (again) cos we needed somewhere to sit. Lalalalalala.
Hong Kong movies are quite misleading, with the main leads riding around in very cool bikes. I told The Man that motorcycles are not common in Hong Kong. Two days and finally found 5 parking lots for bikes, mainly scooters.
We went all the way into 大围 for roasted pigeons.
My sis has a big head.
